What did we do?
We did some market research to find out who would like to take part. We decided we would charge pupils £1 to enter and showcase a talent, like in the real world where you may have to pay to take part in a competition. We decided all pupils could watch and enjoy watching each other's talents. We gave slips to the children wishing to take part and collected them in, so that we could begin to plan our 2 talent shows. This would give us an idea of timings. We then went around and collected the money.
We held 2 talent shows and the talent was incredible. Talents included: magic tricks (Mrs Reece was blown away by these!) gymnastics, dance, singing, fact finders, coding masters, piano players, comedians and many more! Who knew how many talents we have. What this taught us was that we can be brave, show courage and try our best. We also showed real respect towards all our school team, by supporting each other. What an amazing day!
We have raised £41.00 so far towards Loughor in-shore lifeboats!
