Casllwchwr 'Chatterbox' Playgroup

Our amazing and growing ‘Chatterbox’ Playgroup, led by Mrs Alison Jones who is a school governor here at Casllwchwr and a very valued former member of teaching staff. The playgroup will provide an opportunity for parents to bring their babies and pre-school children for an hour and a half of socialising and activities, and will cater for all from birth to 3 years old.

The playgroup is run on Tuesdays from 9.00 to 10.30 and we charge £1 entry to cover our costs.

Activities will include songs, stories, games, and exploration of different toys, in an environment rich in language, texture, colour and sound. All of these activities will help children with their sound and language development, gross and fine motor skill development, counting and shape recognition, pre-reading skills where appropriate, and socialising skills. Above all, the children will feel welcomed into the Casllwchwr community, will feel loved, and will have fun!
