Fri 08 Dec 2023 Casllwchwr Primary School

    Casllwchwr Chronicle Edition 70 and
    Casllwchwr Chat Podcast Episode 23

Hope you are looking forward to the last couple of weeks of term, they are certainly action packed. Thank you ever so much for all of your support with the Christmas Fair and a special mention must go to our amazing PTA - Diolch.

Just a gentle reminder regarding tickets which we previously emailed you - tickets are limited to TWO per performance, per family, not per child. Tickets must be purchased for your chosen time/performance as there have been two offers of iPay.  Any surplus tickets have gone on sale to ensure all parents have been given the opportunity to purchase their entitled allocation. We have limited space in the school hall and must comply with fire regulations. As a result of the limited seating, if you wish for siblings to come along to the performances please could you ensure that they also have a ticket (unfortunately, this is not in addition to allocated two tickets per family). We understand and appreciate that the restriction of tickets can be upsetting and frustrating, however, we have to ensure that we are compliant with Fire Regulations and strict advice from the Local Authority Health and Safety Team. Please would you be mindful of this and not level your frustrations at school staff. Thank you.

We have been working in partnership with Swansea University to raise awareness of how to stay safe in the sun. All children in years 3-6 at our school will be taking part in a short, online quiz being done by researchers at Swansea University. The quiz will be done in the classroom and given to all students unless you specifically use the consent link below to opt your child out. Before you decide whether or not you would like them to take part, we wanted you to understand why we are doing this research and what it will involve.
