Year 5 Skype their Slot Drillio with Pontlliw Primary

We accessed our prior knowledge about bar charts and graphs. We then learnt that Little Mix are helping their fans learn about data handling through the song: SALUT (Scale, Axis, Labels, Units, Title). We learnt the difference between discrete and continuous data. We then went into our nature reserve and were timed to find different things that we could count in one minute. We classified our discrete data and then used SALUT as success criteria to construct our own bar charts using our discrete data. We then used Excel on Office 365 and created our own graphs from our data.
